Can you list at least five of the ten plagues?

God’s power was displayed in the plagues (including the Passover). Against whom was his power displayed? Why was a display of God’s power important to the Hebrew people at this point in their history?

What evidence is there in Scripture – and in Exodus 12 particularly – that suggests the Passover was of critical importance in Israel’s history?

Why was it important for the Hebrews to eat a special meal on this night?

Why was the bread unleavened? The only time unleavened bread is mentioned in the Bible before this is in Genesis 19, when Lot made unleavened bread. Why might he have made unleavened bread?

God instructed Abraham’s descendants to eat a Passover meal every year as part of a weeklong festival (Exodus 12:14-20). Why might God have given this instruction?
